But for the kids playing at home, Australia’s biggest music night has something for you!

The 31st annual ARIA Awards are bringing former One Directioner, teen heart throb and (these-days) actor Harry Styles to our shores as their official 2017 ARIA Awards International Guest.

The ARIA Awards, which will air on Channel Nine, are held at The Star Event Centre in Sydney on Tuesday 28th November.

If he’s good enough for the future Queen of England, then Harry Styles is good enough for the ARIAs.

The Daily Telegraph confirmed the 23-year-old will be taking to the stage, which he’s no stranger to.

In 2014, Harry came down under with his band One Direction, performing their hit song Steal My Girl.

Coincidentally, this year he is nominated under the category best international artist.

Since he’s turning up to the ceremony, we’re going out on a limb and saying he needn’t worry about his competitors – Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, The Rolling Stones, Adele, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd – who are all nominated for the coveted pointy gong.

Harry was last Down Under in 2014 with 1D.

Harry’s decision to drop by coincides with his brand-spanking new single Kiwi.

But a PSA to all his fans, maybe refrain from giving or throwing the fruit at him.

Last week during a performance in London, one excited fan did just that which prompted the musician to say, “You may have seen me fall earlier during this song… it appeared to be a kiwi.”

“That was the culprit, some green seedy mush. Look, there’s another! This could end up being a problem.”

Watch the hilarious trip in the video below! Post continues…

While Harry might be repping the international stars, there is a bevy of local talent that you should be VERY excited to see.

Australia’s sweetheart Jessica Mauboy, who is up for 6 ARIAs including best female artist, is set to perform.

Jessica will no doubt bring the house down with something magical!

Gang of Youths, A.B. Original, Amy Shark, Illy and Paul Kelly are in the running for the evening’s biggest accolade, the Apple Music Album of the Year.

But the icing on the cake is your 2017 ARIA Hall of Fame inductee… Daryl Braithwaite.
