These food inspired makeup trends are going viral

Hailey Bieber has created many beauty trends from ‘glazed doughnut nails’ to ‘brownie glazed lips’ and recently ‘strawberry makeup’.

‘Strawberry makeup’ was created by the model to promote a new product for her brand Rhode and it has gone viral on TikTok.

Her trend has inspired Gen Z to rebrand essentially old makeup trends as food-inspired makeup. Here are some of the most interesting trends, what products to use and who they would work best for.

Strawberry Makeup

We had to start off with the original, Hailey Bieber’s ‘Everyday Strawberry Makeup’!

This look is extremely light with a lack of bronzing opting for more of a blush look.

This is one of the only trends that genuinely looks good on all skin tones, we would especially suggest this look for darker eyes if you’re trying to brighten up your complexion.

This blush is more of a highlighter with glitter spec throughout giving you that gorgeous strawberry glow.

This is the perfect Barbie pink blush for people who don’t want all the shimmer but still want the glow.

The magic blush! This blush goes on clear and transforms into a gorgeous universally flattering blush. It reacts to your natural PH to produce a natural flush tone.

Tomato Girl Makeup

This aesthetic is pretty much sunburn, but make it cute (real sunburn is not cute do this instead).

Think sun-drenched days lying on European beaches, the perfect going-out look after a salty swim to an Italian dinner with spritzes.

This look allows more coverage and bronze paired with a burnt red blush and lip combo.

This look would look better on darker complexions but it’s especially gorgeous for people wanting to embrace their natural rosacea and just amp it up a little bit.

Cream blush doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg, this beautiful red is perfect for an on-the-go lip and cheek look.

Now, this right here is perfection! This blush has a radiant finish and even though it’s on the expensive side, a little goes a long way. We’re serious, make sure you use less than a dab when you first put on this blush.

Latte Makeup

Now we’re not going to sugar coat it, this is pretty much a rebranded smokey eye but it’s different we promise!

TikTok has decided it’s either a bold lip and light eye or a dark eye and nude lip.

This look is ultra bronze and has a subtle smokey eye and a glossy nude lip.

This look is probably not suited for all complexions and would look best on medium to dark skin tones.

This bronzer is addictive! The perfect powder and cream to sculpt and bronze your face for that latte look.

This liquid bronzer is great if you find it hard to blend the cream and powder bronzers.

We love a Fenty gloss but especially this gorgeous chocolate to add a little something to this bronzy look.
