Gwyneth who has a net worth of $140 million, always seems to be doing interesting cleanses, detoxes and diets but this new challenge, which she is doing for charity, is surprisingly relatable.

The Oscar-winner is doing the #FoodBankNYCChallenge. She must subsist on a SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) budget of just $29 a week.

The 42-year-old was challenged in a Twitter video post by her long-time friend, Mario Batali who is a board member of the Food Bank of New York City. The actress will raise awareness for the cause.

Gwyneth shares what sheโ€™ll be eating for the week.

No word on whether Gwynethโ€™s kids, Moses and Apple will embark on the challenge with their mum, who has managed to still create a healthy meal plan.

Offering a peek into her challenge week on Twitter, she shared a photo of what she was able to buy with the $29 allotted for all meals for the week.

The health conscious mum-of-two purchases a carton of eggs, seven limes, a package of tortillas, frozen peas, one ear of corn, one avocado, and one tomato.

โ€œThis is what $29 gets you at the grocery store โ€“ what families on SNAP (i.e. food stamps) have to live on for a week,โ€ the Oscar winner wrote.

She went on to extend the life of the challenge, nominating Los Angeles chef Roy Choi.
