Gwyneth, 42, was spotted dining with Glee producer Brad, 44, at upmarket LA restaurant Animal whose barbeque-themed menu experimental features dishes such as fried rabbit legs, veal tongue and pig ears.
“They were sitting together, very cosy and romantic,” one eyewitness told People magazine.
“He was totally rapt by everything she was saying. They were totally on a date.”
It seems the mother-of-two also hung out with her pal, actor and Hollywood director Jon Favreau on the night as he shared a snap of the two of them at the restaurant.
The date followed Gwyneth’s bold declaration earlier in the week that she was going to attempt to live off a $USD29 food-stamp budget for the next week to experience how the other half live.
That amounts to approximately $1.38 per meal. Somehow, we doubt rabbit legs fall within that budget!
A representative denied that Gwyneth had cheated, claiming that she had already finished the challenge five days earlier and when she posted the photo of her food stamp haul, she was already six days into the challenge.
The rep told the Daily Mail: “She finished the challenge last week when Mario challenged her on April 3rd. She didn’t get to post the photos of the groceries until the 9th.”
“Now the point of the challenge is to show just how impossible it is to live on 29 dollars a week which is why most families run out of money 2/3 into the week at least.”
The actress and her Coldplay rocker husband split over a year ago and he’s since been linked a slew of A-list ladies including Alexa Chung, Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence and most recently good pal Kate Hudson.
Gwyneth meanwhile seems to be taking things slowly and steadily with TV producer Brad.
