Would you pay hundreds of dollars for your 11-year-old daughter to have a facial?
Well, if you’re Gwyneth Paltrow, known for bizarre health treatments like cupping, vagina steaming and light-emitting facial therapy, you probably would.
The Hollywood starlet is handing over $280 a pop for a facial for her eldest daughter, Apple, 11, by Hollywood skin specialist Sonya Dakar.
Sonya has had famous clients like Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio, and offers treatments like a snake venom facial. This is said to freeze the muscles in the face, almost as if she’s had Botox but without the needles.
One of Gwyn’s favourite treatments is the apple stem cell facial which involves light-emitting therapy.
“She loves it,” the skin therapist said of Apple. “She said ‘Mummy, you have to go only to Sonya.’ She’s so into her health.”
A source has reportedly said: “Gwyneth has seen Sonya countless times and believes prevention is better than a cure.”
