May Ashworth from the UK typed something into the search engine and didnโ€™t forget her manners โ€“ she started it with โ€˜pleaseโ€™ and ended with โ€˜thank youโ€™. So sweet!

And as any millennial would, her grandson, Ben, snapped a pic and posted it to Twitter when he saw.

Ben told the BBC: โ€œI asked my Nan why she used โ€˜pleaseโ€™ and โ€˜thank youโ€™ and it seemed she thinks that there is someone โ€” a physical person โ€” at Googleโ€™s headquarters who looks after the searches.โ€

โ€œShe thought that by being polite and using her manners, the search would be quicker.โ€

Turns out her polite courtesy didnโ€™t go unnoticed by Google UK.

They responded: โ€œDear Benโ€™s Nan. Hope youโ€™re well. In a world of billions of Searches, yours made us smile. Oh, and itโ€™s 1998. THANK YOU.โ€
