A new Spice Girls’ baby is on the way!
Geri Halliwell aka Geri Horner aka Ginger Spice is expecting her second child with husband Christian Horner.
The British-born beauty debuted her baby bump on the red carpet of the Attitude Magazine Awards, held in London on October 10.
Long-time gal pal and fellow Spice Girl, Emma Bunton, was there to share in her joy as the two laughed and cradled Geri’s burgeoning belly in excitement.
Baby and Ginger are still the best of friends!
But it appears that Geri’s joy was not shared by all of her former band mates…
Earlier this year, Scary Spice, Mel B, famously unfollowed Melanie C on Twitter and Instagram, apparently upon discovering that she would not take part in the upcoming reunion, and now it would seem that the news of Geri’s impending arrival may have led her to assume the same.
The X Factor judge removed her pal from her social media accounts recently – possibly in the wake of Geri’s baby news – and is yet to send her congratulations.
Are things getting fiery between these two spices?
The 44-year-old Spice Girl first made the happy announcement on Instagram with an adorable hand-drawn note portrait of herself pregnant.
The message read: “God bless Mother Nature #mamaspice.”
Geri’s bandmate Emma Bunton was one of the first stars to congratulate the singer, writing: “Yay! Can’t wait to celebrate with you. Xxx.”
Geri and Christian married in 2015.
Christian and Geri released a statement about their happy news through a spokesperson.
“The couple is overjoyed with the good news and cannot wait to welcome the newest addition to their family.”
The pair both have children from previous relationships.
Geri already has a 10-year-old daughter Bluebell, who was a bridesmaid at her wedding to Christian in 2015, while Christian has a daughter called Olivia, who will turn three this month.

Despite their happiness, Christian’s mother and father were said to be heartbroken when he allegedly ended his 14-year relationship with Beverly Allen to be with Geri.
Out of respect to Beverly, his parents reportedly did not attend Geri and Christian’s wedding last year.
After going public with their romance in March 2014, Geri and Christian announced their engagement in November, 2014.
The duo took the old-fashioned approach with an announcement in the UK version of The Times, which read: “Mr C.E.J. Horner OBE and Geri Halliwell, The engagement is announced between Christian, son of Mr and Mrs G.M. Horner and Geraldine, daughter of the late Mr L.F. Halliwell and Mrs A. Parkinson.”
