Despite differing opinions on whether a true love connection can be found on a reality television show, former The Bachelorette star Georgia Love and now husband Lee Elliot have proved it’s possible in a heartwarming tribute posted to social media.

In 2016, Lee competed in The Bachelorette mansion for Georgia’s heart and after more than six years their spark has not dulled.

“Realising the 6 hours I’ve been at work today is the longest I’ve not seen @leeroyelliott in over a month,” she said on Instagram.

“Find someone who loves the same things as you, makes you smile and who you want to be next to all the time, then spend your life with them. I can highly recommend it.”

The tribute has followed the couple’s holiday to some beautiful Mediterranean countries including Italy, Spain and island hoping around Greece.

Although fans felt inspired by Georgia’s post, it appears the playfulness in their marriage has not been lost as Lee responded, “Why are you so obsessed with me?”

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdowns that followed across the world, Georgia and Lee’s dream of a European wedding was cancelled.

However, they finally settled in Tasmania to officially tie the knot in March 2021.

The pair have shared their quirky puns on social media, but Georgia even claimed the wedding’s official hashtag to be “#aloveleewedding” which has almost a public photo album of the ceremony.

On their first anniversary, Georgia wrote on social media, “Happy first anniversary, my husband. May we forever smile as much, as wide, as purely and as unreservedly as we did this day. I love you.”

In December 2020, the couple announced they purchased a home together.

“Because launching two businesses and planning two weddings during a global pandemic wasn’t stressful, interesting or financially draining enough, we thought, “why not buy a house too?”” Georgia said.
