While accepting an award at a black-tie event in Tuscany, Italy, this weekend, Clooney said: “I met my lovely bride to be here in Italy, whom I will be marrying, in a couple of weeks, in Venice, of all places,” People magazine reports.
The couple attended the event together, which was held in support of the Andrea Bocelli Foundation and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center.
Clooney, 53, and Alamuddin, 36, were originally expected to tie the knot in Lake Como.
The actor popped the question earlier this year with an emerald-cut diamond.
