Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s guests might be sworn to secrecy over their Royal Wedding invitations but that doesn’t mean their hairdressers can’t let the cat out of the bag!
With the wedding just a few weeks away, all kinds of famous names are being thrown about.
And now, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney’s loose-lipped hairdresser Miguel Perez has confirmed she’ll be attending the May 19th nuptials with her actor husband George Clooney.
When celebrity hair stylist Miguel was questioned about reports he’ll be working his magic on Meghan’s hair for the big day, he deflected by telling Hola!: “What I can confirm is that I will be in charge of Amal’s hair that day.”
He might not be doing Meghan’s wedding hair but he knows exactly how he’d style if he was.
“I would leave it loose for the ceremony and then I would do an updo for the party,” Miguel revealed.
Miguel is one of the most in-demand hairdressers in London, with an upmarket business called Salon Sloane in Chelsea that charges £180 ($AUD329) for a cut and blow-dry and £150 ($AUD274) for more formal event hair.
Most recently, he styled Amal’s hair for her Vogue cover.
It was initially believed the Spanish-born hairdresser had landed the coveted role of Meghan Markle’s wedding day stylist when he told the Mail on Sunday he worked on Meghan’s tresses after Amal recommended him to the bride-to-be.
“I do her colour, her cut and her styling,” he explained to the publication.
Meanwhile George and Amal, who are the proud parents to twins Ella and Alexander, will be in good company at the Royal Wedding.
They’ll be joined by a slew of well-known celebs including the cast of Suits, Victoria and David Beckham, Sir Elton John and Serena Williams.
