As the embattled Olympian and his wife Sara face tough times, her mum remains their rock.
As Geoff Huegill and wife Sara’s life was turned upside down at Sydney’s Royal Randwick Racecourse, all was calm behind the manicured hedges of their swanky home just a few kilometres away.
Because while the Huegills were being charged with possession of an illicit drug, Woman’s Day can exclusively reveal Sara’s mum Caja Hills was caring for their daughters Mila, 2, and Gisele, just 3 months old.
Caja’s grandmotherly love has helped keep the family unit together, allowing Geoff and Sara the freedom to get to their red-carpet commitments – and she regularly lends a hand around the house.
“She’s the cook, the cleaner, the babysitter, which allows the Huegills to jet all over the world knowing their girls are in good hands,” says an insider.
