Actress Angelina Jolie has landed in Oz to attend the world premiere of Unbroken in Sydney on Monday night. Jolie is the director on the WWII epic which is based on the incredible true story of WWII hero, Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who joined the Air Force in 1941 and became stranded on a raft for 47 days after his plane was shot down.
Meanwhile Angelina Jolie’s husband, Brad Pitt snuck into town late on Sunday night ahead of his wife’s much anticipated film premiere. In 2015 Brad, who married Jolie in a secret ceremony in France in August, is set to once again join his wife on the big screen in the romantic drama, By The Sea, which Jolie also directs.
Robert Redford is currently in Sydney filming an upcoming movie called Truth alongside Aussie Cate Blanchett. The film centres around the controversial true story of American news anchor Dan Rather, played by Redford, who broke a story in 2004 about then President George Bush avoiding his duty of fighting in the Vietnam war in the 1960’s and 70’s. The during his time in Oz the Oscar-winning actor has been enjoying Sydney’s sights, including a catching a few theatre shows with his co-star and dining at Sydney’s famed Bondi Icebergs. And of course, it goes without saying we would love to spy Cate!

The 35-year-old was at a celebration held at the brands boutique store in the QVB this past Thursday which saw the unveiling of a new campaign featuring the Bridesmaid‘s star.
