Former Biggest Loser star Fiona Falkiner has always been candid with fans about her body positivity journey.
On Friday, to celebrate dropping even more kilos after giving birth in March, the mother-of-one showed off her impressive weight loss.
Fiona shared a set of side-by-side before and after photos, showing herself looking trimmer and saying she feels more fabulous than ever.
“I’ve never been a big fan of the scales but these days I’ve been feeling fantastic and thought I would have a little look at how I’m tracking,” she said.
“It’s a few months between these photos and I have to say the photo on the right was a tired, stressed mumma who was not looking after herself, life was so chaotic and feeding myself was my last priority.”
“These days I am now feeling a lot more in control of my life. Don’t get me wrong I’m still crazy busy (juggling Mum life and work is a tough gig!) but I try work to a schedule and make time to meal prep, and move my body at every opportunity.”
The 38-year-old said she hasn’t put pressure on herself to lose weight, and avoids looking at the numbers on the scales.
“Instead, I’m focusing on my clothes and how good I feel putting my jeans on without having to spend 5 minutes squeezing into them!” she shared.
Hordes of Fiona’s fellow celebs and fans took to the comment section to share their compliments.
“AMAZING ❤️🙌 You look SENSATIONAL babe x,” Chezzi Denyer wrote.
“You look amazing Fiona!” former Bachelorette Georgia Love commented, while model Elyse Knowles said Fiona was “shining bright as always”.
Fiona welcomed her first baby, a son named Hunter, with fiancee Hayley Willis in March this year before starting her fitness journey in June.
“My obstetrician told me I could not really train until 12 weeks post birth so I just started gently in June doing post-partum workouts and slowly worked my way up from there,” Fiona told news.com.au at the tine.
“For me, it is about having control and having structure and not putting any pressure on myself to lose a certain amount of weight. It also feels so good to have control of my life like that.”
While Fiona admitted she “loved my body when I was pregnant”, she also revealed a few confidence struggles after Hunter was born.
“My tummy went from holding him to just being soft and nothing there. But Hayley has been amazing. She’s just bolstered me the whole way,” she told New Idea.
“I just want to be my best self for my family. If training and eating well was about numbers on the scale, I would be tiny and I’ve never been tiny. For me, living a healthy, happy life is what I’m passionate about.”
