A huge congratulations are in order for Fiona Falkiner and Hayley Willis, who have finally tied the knot!
The couple wed in Byron Bay, NSW on October 29 and the ceremony was simply stunning.
Taking place outdoors, Fiona was walked down the aisle – which was lined with tropical trees and shrubbery – by her father and wore a beautiful white A-line gown adorned with delicate embroidery and lace detailing.
Hayley opted for an incredibly sophisticated and modern take on the classic tuxedo and wore a white blouse with black lapels and black high-waisted bell bottom trousers that featured a high split along the leg.
Fiona and Hayley’s two children, Hunter and Spencer wore cute matching white ensembles to their mums’ wedding, while Fiona’s bridesmaids wore silky coral-coloured gowns.
After the ceremony, Fiona and Hayley and their guests enjoyed an alfresco sit down meal at a beautifully decorated table while fairy lights twinkled above them.
Taking to Instagram, Fiona and Hayley shared a few heartwarming shots from the day (captioned with the single word, “Forever”) on October 30 and the pair couldn’t look happier.
Friends and fans were quick to congratulate Fiona and Hayley on their nuptials; model Elyse Knowles commented, “So beautiful!!! Enjoy the celebrations,” while former Miss Australia Erin Holland wrote, “Congrats gorgeous humans!!”
Comedian Tanya Hennessy and sports broadcaster Danika Mason were two of the many guests who attended the wedding and commented on how lovely the ceremony was. Tanya wrote, “Best wedding ever!” while Danika wrote, “Honestly the best day.”
Fiona and Hayley have been together since 2018, when Hayley spotted a picture of Fiona on Instagram, and very confidently just sent a message asking her out.
They got engaged in 2019 and by mid-2020, Fiona had become pregnant through IVF with their first child, Hunter, who was born in 2021.
The couple announced that they were expecting their second child in March of this year but this time Hayley was the one who had become pregnant. Spencer was born August 1, just twelve weeks before his mums’ wedding.
