Radio star Fifi Box and her adorable 16-month old daughter Trixie enjoyed a treasured moment together at an AFL game on the outskirts of Melbourne.

Proving that the pair don’t need dad Grant Kenny in the picture to have a loving family, Fifi, 37,  lavished affection on the toddler and appeared to have a great day out as she snapped pictures of her giggling and playing with a football.

Sadly, though, Australia’s cutest celebrity toddler has no hands-on dad to throw it to. So far, at least, Trixie is growing up fast without knowing her famous dad, who was also AWOL at her first birthday.

Sources close to the pair say Fifi, 37, is now resigned to being a solo mum after initially hoping Grant would want more.

“I’m so lucky to have a village of family and friends to help me,” Fifi tells showandtellonline.com.au.

“I couldn’t do this without them… but for me motherhood was a challenge I always hoped for. For me it’s just the biggest blessing. It sounds so cheesy, but it really is.”
