In a world exclusive with Hello! Sarah Ferguson talks candidly about how being overweight felt like it was ruining her life. “Every ‘Duchess of Pork’ headline reached the depths of my soul,” she says.

Fergie has completely changed her diet and her way of thinking, which was not an easy task as she admits to “have battled with never being able to control my weight. I was up and down like a yo-yo. I was in control, out of control” since the age of 15.

The Duchess was prompted to make the changes in her life after being asked to attend the World Innovation Summit for Health in Qatar last year. She wasn’t a picture of health herself, so she wasn’t ready to put herself in that position. But it did make her act.

Fergie says the key to her transformation was quitting sugar. “I had let sugar control me,” she says. Pilates was then added to tighten and tone once the weight started dropping off. “I am the fittest I’ve ever been because I am physically and mentally fit,” she says.
