“No criminal activity was involved; the decision to hospitalise West at was for his own health and safety,” an insider told NBC.

E! News reports that the LA Police Department received a phone call around 1:20pm local time in regards to the father-of-two’s well-being.

“The disturbance call became a medical emergency,” a source explained to E! News.

Meanwhile, TMZ claim the star was being tended to by one of his doctors for extreme sleep deprivation when the call was made to send him to hospital.

However Kanye reportedly had to be restrained on the way to hospital.

In just a matter of hours, his wife Kim Kardashian was set to return to the spotlight for the first time since her horrifying Paris robbery ordeal but her plans may now have to change.

The 36-year-old was expected to join her siblings Rob, Kourtney, Khloe, and mum Kris Jenner at the Angel Ball event which is held at Cipriani Wall Street, as they honour their late father Robert Kardashian, who passed away in 2003 from esophageal cancer.

The latest worrying development comes as Yeezy announced he’d pulled the pin on the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour.

“The remaining dates on the Saint Pablo Tour have been canceled,” the rapper’s rep told E! News in a statement. “Tickets will be fully refunded at point of purchase.”

And now, pals close to the polarising star fear he may have had a mental breakdown.

“There are fears he is having a nervous breakdown. He’s surrounded by all these crazy people, but there’s nobody he listens to or who can rein him in,” an insider told The New York Post.

“He’s a mad genius, and he’s spiraling further and further out of control. Basically everything crazy he does is ‘art,’ so he is becoming more and more unpredictable.”

The abrupt decision comes in light of Yeezy’s most recent “episode” during his concert on Saturday in Sacramento.

The 39-year-old arrived 90 minutes late and after making his way through three songs, the musician decided it was time to vent his frustrations, taking aim at former friend Jay Z, his wife Beyonce and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“I’m on my Trump s–t tonight,” he began.

“Beyoncé, I was hurt ’cause I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and over Hotline Bling. Now, don’t go trying to diss Beyoncé.”

Explaining, the father-of-two shouted, “She is great. Taylor Swift is great. We are all great people. We are all people. But sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win.”

“F–k winning. F–k looking cool. F–k being cool!”

He then focused his attention on his former bestie and collaborator, Jay Z. “I’ve been sent here to give y’all my truth even at the risk of my own life, even at the risk of my own success, my own career.”

“I’ve been sent here to give y’all the truth. Jay Z, call me, bruh. You still ain’t called me. Jay Z, call me, Jay Z; I know you got killers. Please don’t send them at my head. Just call me.”

Concluding his diatribe he added, “Talk to me like a man.”

During Kanye’s 10-minute tirade, Kim Kardashian’s husband also decided to comment on the current political climate.

The Grammy winner shared with the packed arena saying Trump is “just a man… the same as everybody here. This is the future. This is the way of thinking to make America great again.”

With audience booing at his comments, Kanye laughed and continued, “You don’t like that. Guess what? Y’all need the vibes. I was hurt. Feelings matter, bro. The way motherf—– put money up so high. Popularity. Radio spins. Feelings matter, bro.”

His incoherent rant went on, “It’s a new world, Hillary Clinton. It’s a new world. Feelings matter. Because guess what? Everybody in middle America felt a way, and they showed you how they felt… It’s a new world Barack. It’s a new world Jay Z.”

In August, Kanye said, “I want people to come to the Pablo shows and know it’s just going to be the best time they’ve had in their life.”

Before ending, “Get ready to have a field day press ’cause the show’s over,” Kanye yelled before dropping his mic to the ground.

Among those in the audience was acclaimed rapper, Snoop Dogg, who shared his shock over Yeezy’s behaviour, labelling it as “crazy.”

This is Yeezy’s second rant this week, after admitting he didn’t vote, but if he did he would have voted for Donald Trump, despite Kim publicly declaring her support for Democratic nominee Hillary.

Kanye’s shocking behaviour just comes a mere weeks since his wife’s traumatic and life-threatening ordeal.

But as the mum-of-two tries to rebuild her life, she is said to be “fed up” with Kanye’s “narcissistic” behaviour.

Kim is said to be devastated that her husband failed to put her first, going or tour rather than focusing on their family.

“She wants him to grow up and really be a man, stop throwing tantrums and thinking throwing a tantrum on stage is more important than being with your children, especially after she just went through this horrible ordeal,” a friend close to the star told the Daily Mail.

“She really has a lot to think about, she’s really taking time out. When he made the decision to continue the tour after what happened [in Paris], that was a huge last straw scenario for her.”

“Deep down in her heart, she really wanted him to pull the tour and spend time with her to help her recover and get over it. That has hurt her more than the ordeal itself.”

It’s been weeks since we’ve seen Kim. The 36-year-old is expected to join her siblings Rob, Kourtney and Khloe and mum Kris Jenner, at Cipriani Wall Street, as they honour their late father Robert Kardashian.

Another friend spoke to the publication, revealing, “They’ve been bickering constantly- she didn’t want Kanye to do the tour in the first place.”

They allege, “He had a psychotic break. Kanye is very hot tempered and he’s very reactionary. A lot of times, he speaks before he thinks and he’s very sensitive.”

Kanye is no stranger to controversy, but despite his notoriously volatile behaviour, fans fear more be at play.

Kanye is said to be “hurt” be the actions of his friends Jay Z and Beyonce.

With so much talk of a “psychotic break”, many onlookers are voicing that there are issues with his mental health.

But a source close to the musician told People that Kanye is merely tired.

“It’s nothing like that,” the source shared.

“He’s just exhausted. He’s been working around the clock on fashion design, both on his own line and the Adidas line. He’s a notorious workaholic, so balancing both that work – which is extremely important to him – and the rigors of the tour every night, it really wore him out.”

Adding, “I’m sure Kim and his family played a part in the decision [to cancel the tour].”

“He’s incredibly devoted to his family.”

It’s not just crazy rants, Yeezy has been incoherent on Instagram, sharing 99 images from old and current Maison Margiela lookbooks.
