He’s a fan favourite to win Georgia Love’s heart, but Jake Ellis may not be as squeaky clean as he’d have viewers believe…
The 30-year-old was recently snapped knocking back booze and chain smoking as he let off steam.
In the telling shots, the tall, dark and handsome brunette can be seen hanging out in a back alley with a friend.
He dons a hooded jacket pulled up over his head, perhaps in an attempt to keep his partying habits under wraps from fans of the dating show.
The Australian sweetheart’s chemistry with Jake began the very first moment they laid eyes on each other.
Their first single date saw fireworks as the salesman took out the series’ very first kiss.
“I had an immediate connection and chemistry with Jake. And more than anything else, he makes me feel amazing,” Georgia reflected.
“He does little things to let me know he’s thinking about me and just the way he looks and speaks to me makes me feel incredibly special,” the journalist gushed.
Their undeniable attraction was enough to pull him through to the hometown dates, which occurred during last Thursday’s episode.
While the couple enjoyed a romantic day on the water to themselves before diving into the deep end, Jake’s family had no hesitations in grilling the news anchor the second she walked in the door.
“We’ve only been here five minutes and Robbie [his mum] is already pulling me aside. I feel like she’s got something playing on her mind,” the 28-year-old quipped to the cameras.

Getting straight into the tough questions, Jake’s mother, who lives on the Gold Coast, asked after the pretty brunette’s plans to settle in Victoria.
“My plan is to go back to Melbourne and, you know, kind of settle back there. My mum’s unwell so… I do wanna be back in Melbourne to be with her,” she began.
“I’m sorry your mum’s not well, but I’m sure Jake shared with you that Brian and I have had our health issues as well, and still ongoing,” the concerned mother replied.
This appeared to be a problem for Georgia, as she later cited in a side interview that the issue of where they reside may just be their breaking point.
“If I am with Jake at the end of all this – whether that’s that he moves to Melbourne or we do distance for a while and see what happens – I don’t think Robbie would like Jake moving at all.
“I can tell that already. He walked in the door and she burst into tears. She wants him home. She misses him.”
