In fact, more than a few believe that his daughter, Paris Jackson, holds the key to the truth.

The 18-year-old uploaded a selfie to her Instagram account back in May. The photo shows Paris sitting in the front seat of a car with a dark shadow behind her, likely just a headrest or a pile of clothes on the back seat.

But some think the dark shadow is actually her late father.

Fans have doctored the selfie to show what they think they see…

The photo has since been deleted from Paris’ account, but that hasn’t stopped people from sharing screenshots.

Fans of the music star are now convinced that her father is well and truly alive.

One user queried, “Omg is that michael in the back????”

Another passionately penned, “I told everyone that he was alive but no, no one believed me! And now they know he’s alive!”

Last week, on what would have been his 58th birthday, Paris and brother Prince paid tribute to their late father on social media.

19-year-old Prince decided to remember his father with a sonnet that celebrates, not only the hitmaker’s iconic sound, but the “son, brother and father” he was behind it all.

“Happy birthday to the Man who was more than a legend,” Prince introduced on his Instagram account. “I love you.”

Paris shared her brother’s sonnet, adding: “Love this.. proud of you big brother and happy birthday to the man that means more to us than anything and anyone ever could.”
