Famous parents of twins

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline on July 12, 2008. The first pictures of the twins were sold to People magazine and Hello! for a reported $14 million, the most expensive baby pictures ever taken.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s twin daughters named Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, were born via a surrogate on June 22, 2009.

Princess Mary and Prince Frederick announced they were expecting twins on August 6, 2010. The couple then welcomed a little Princess and a little Prince into their royal family on January 8.

As per Danish royal tradition the couple will announce the names of the newborns in about three months’ time, at the babies’ christening.

In August 2008, singer Ricky Martin became the father of twin boys, Matteo and Valentino. The twin boys were born via a surrogate mother.

On February 20, 2007 Marcia welcomed fraternal twin daughters, Eden and Savannah, just before her 45th birthday. During her pregnancy, the actress was put on bed rest, but refused to stop working and had the cast and crew film scenes for Desperate Housewives at her home.

Julia Roberts and her former husband Daniel Moder have twins who were born in November 2004 named Patricia Moder and Phinnaeus “Finn” Walter Moder.

Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are the parents of fraternal twins Emme Maribel Muñiz, and Maximilian “Max” David Muñiz who were born on February 22, 2008.

The twins were introduced to the world a month after their birth in People magazine, in a spread that cost the magazine $6 million.
