Wayne Carey and partner Stephanie Edwards have finally welcomed their new baby girl Charlotte Mila home, happy and healthy.
Wayne, 43, and Stephanie have been eagerly awaiting Charlotte’s arrival home after Stephanie was rushed to hospital with complications. She gave birth on November 21 to Charlotte 8 weeks premature.
Now, their new bundle of joy is finally home after doctors declared little Charlotte healthy and happy and well enough to leave hospital following eight weeks in incubation.
Stephanie was originally due to give birth in early January.
The AFL legend’s Melbourne apartment will be Charlotte’s new home until the pair find a bigger home for their growing family.
Wayne has another daughter, 9-year-old Ella to former wife Sally, who co-incidentally gave birth to a baby of her own just before Christmas.

Channel 7 and Triple M commentator Wayne has told friends he is “ecstatic”.
“He always wanted to give Steph a baby,” a family friend confirms.
They are both “relieved and exhausted” and looking forward to the future.

A proud Wayne showed off Stephanie’s growing baby bump when the pair attended Melbourne’s Fashion Aid 007 event in September last year.
