Erin Molan has broken her silence on her recent split from fiancé Sean Ogilvy two weeks after announcing the shock news.
The 39-year-old shares three-year-old daughter Eliza with Oglivy, whom she had been with for four years before their split.

Opening up during a segment on her 2Day FM breakfast show on Thursday, Erin revealed a recent “cathartic” moment in the breakup.
“When I first told you guys that my partner and I had separated, Hughesy you said one advantage to this – apart from a few others – is that you can listen to break-up songs and cry,” she said.
Co-hosts Dave “Hughesy” Hughes and Ed Kavalee listened on as Erin revealed she had given it a go.
“I realised yesterday when I had an hour to myself that I hadn’t done that yet, so I put on break-up songs and it was amazing,” the mum-of-one confessed.
“It was so cathartic, is that the word?”
Erin has kept details of her split from Sean, who works as a police officer, private in the weeks since she shared the news on Instagram.
In a now-deleted post the broadcaster shared a short statement about their relationship coming to an end.
“Some personal news, Sean and I have separated,” the post read.
“We are entirely committed to co-parenting our 3-year-old daughter, who is the most important person in the world to both of us.”
“Any breakdown of a family unit is incredibly difficult and we ask for privacy at this time – especially given the private approach that we have taken to our relationship.”
“We won’t be making any further comment, thank you.”
The post no longer appears on Erin’s Instagram, where she has continued to share snaps from her work at Channel Nine and 2DayFM.
She also posted a photo of daughter Eliza earlier this week, snapping the toddler reading a book surrounded by toys.
The star has kept much of her relationship with Sean private and has chosen to do the same when it comes to their split, sharing very few details publicly.
“I don’t post pictures of Sean because he’s a fairly private person and that’s not the way we show affection,” she previously told Stellar of her decision to keep her relationship off social media.
Now the single mum appears to be focused on her work and her daughter, whom she puts first in all aspects of her life.
“Being the best mum to her is my priority times a billion over anything else,” Erin told TV WEEK in 2020.
“The thought of looking back and regretting not having a lot of time with her, or regretting putting other things ahead of her, would just make me feel physically ill.”
