As we rung in a new decade, millions around the world threw parties for New Year’s Eve. But we think we’ve found the ultimate one.
Elsa Pataky, 43, invited her closest gal pals for a night to remember with a themed party but rather than going with the Roaring Twenties, the Spanish-born actress opted to go back in time to the Swinging Sixties for a Studio 54 shindig.

“2020 there we go,” Elsa captioned her post in both Spanish and English.
In the first snap, Mrs Chris Hemsworth can be seen front-and-centre surrounded by 11 of her friends, all of whom are dressed to the nines in sequins, sparkles and shiny sixties-style ensembles.
But it was the hostess with the mostess whose outfit really stole the show.

With her skin-tight sequined and feathered dress accessorised with big round shades, the Fast and Furious star most definitely gets our vote for best dressed. And with a body like that, you’d want to show it off!

Elsa and Chris shared photos from their Byron Bay Christmas Day with guests from Elsa’s Spanish side of the family plus, Chris’s younger brother Liam, 29, who split from wife Miley Cyrus this year.
“I love Christmas it really brings people together. Thanks @elsapatakyconfidential and her Spanish family for truly making me feel part of the family,” Chris captioned his post on Instagram.

The mum-of-three shared a series of photos to her personal Instagram account as she and her friends partied on a yacht and posed in front of their private jet in the Spanish party town.

Leaving the kids behind, Elsa and husband Chris were joined by famous friends including Matt Damon and his wife Luciana Barroso, who also live in Byron Bay.
