Some people will go to great lengths for the perfect pic – just ask Liz Hurley!
The 50-year-old actress was visiting London’s Victoria & Albert Museum when she decided it would be a good idea to grab a happy snap on the famous Great Bed of Ware, a huge four-poster bed from the 16th Century.
Security guards at the Museum weren’t so keen on the idea though, and escorted Liz and her friend, shoe designer Patrick Cox, out of the building when alarm bells were raised.
“As we were leaving, Liz and I wanted to take a quick selfie on this really old bed,” Patrick told The Daily Mail.
“The alarm went off and all these security guards came and escorted us out of the building. It was very funny.”
Lucky for Liz and her Instagram followers, she did manage to nab a pic before being shown the door.
“Opps. Couldn’t resist perching on this magnificent bed in the glorious V&A last night … and set all the alarms off. Thank you to the staff for being so nice.”
We wonder what Cate Blanchett would think!
