Jessica Barrymore, 47, was found dead inside a car in California on Tuesday, a local television reported.
The 39-year-old Charlie’s Angels star, gave a statement to E! News: “Although I only met her briefly, I wish her and her loved ones as much peace as possible and I’m so incredibly sorry for their loss”.
Jessica was the daughter of the actor John Barrymore and his third wife Nina Wayne. Drew’s mother is actress Jaid Barrymore.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the death, but no further details about the cause have been released.
