If there’s one couple almost everyone was rooting for, it was Rihanna and Drake.
After THAT moment at the MTV VMAs, when Drake told the world “She’s someone I’ve been in love with since I was 22 years old” as he presented her with the Vanguard award, the pair seemed to be getting closer – and we were all for it.

At one point, the pair even seemed to solidify their everlasting bond with matching shark tattoos, chosen in reference to one of their dates.
At the time, Drake took to Instagram to share a picture of the inking, which he captioned: “Camo shark for my dear friend @badgirlriri”.

But alas, it was not to be. If reports are to be believed, the couple, who have been on and off for seven years, have called time on their relationship – again.
A source told E! News: “Rihanna and Drake are seeing other people at the moment. They are not exclusive anymore. They still love each other, but their schedules have gotten in the way.”
Drake and Rihanna have been on and off for seven years.
But others would believe that Rihanna could be the driving force behind the couple’s split.
“She doesn’t want to be held down”, a source close to the Barbados-born beauty told Us Weekly.
“They will always be close. If they end up together, it could happen, but not now.”
Meanwhile, Drake has recently been spotted with model India Love, and the couple are rumoured to have been dating for a few weeks.
Just last weekend, in a rare move, Rihanna addressed her love life online – using a meme to make a low-key swipe at one of her exes.
“None of my exes are married or in happy relationships so it’s safe to say that I wasn’t da problem,” she shared.
We’re sure hoping that it wasn’t aimed at Drake!
The pair first met in 2005 when Rihanna was filming her first music video for Pon de Replay at the restaurant where Drake worked.
