Cookbook author Donna Hay announced her new streaming series Donna Hay Christmas, exclusively on Disney+ has dropped November 2 and has featured her favourite “tips and tricks” to avoid the Christmas Day hustle.

“Christmas at my house usually consists of my three favourite things – family, laughter and super-delicious food. It’s these things we all treasure, and it’s what I’ve learnt to focus on when preparing and planning for the big day,” Donna said.
“This year, through my new series ‘Donna Hay Christmas’ premiering on Disney+, I’ll be bringing you into my world for a Christmas special like no other.
“I’ll share all of my best tips and tricks, creating show stopping recipes and beautiful food styling ideas that will make for the most delicious, stress-free Christmas yet.”
The four-episode series has covered all your festive food needs.
In the first episode ‘Deliciously Simple Starters’, Donna will share simple yet effect entertainment solutions during the holiday season including unique lobster slides, refreshing drinks that can be gifted and edible centerpieces.
The second episode ‘The Main Event’ will show the host exclusively sharing her signature cheat sheet for a beautifully glazed ham, veg-forward slides and her best tips for the perfect roast turkey.
In the following episode ‘Show Stopping Desserts’ will feature Donna cooking some of her best desserts but with an unexpected twist including tiered cakes into a miniature wonderland and pavlova is turned into a centerpiece.
“I’ll up the deliciousness and reduce the fuss on all your Christmas favourites, including show-stopping desserts that will put the ‘wow’ in your Christmas celebrations,” Donna revealed.
Last but not least, the fourth episode ‘Sweet Treats and Festive Favours’ will turn chocolate chip cookies, carrot cake and plenty other chocolate treats into some of the most beautiful gifts.
Donna noted the edible gifts have been “made with love and the planet in mind”.
