A series of phone messages threaten to bring down one of Hollywood’s most intriguing marriages.
After five years of marriage, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s relationship is facing its toughest challenge yet, with Star magazine publishing text messages from Ashton to the woman who claims she had an affair with him.
As Woman’s Day reported last week, Star alleges Ashton cheated on his wife with 21-year-old Brittney Jones, after meeting the attractive brunette at a bowling alley.
Within hours of Brittney giving Ashton her number, she says the 32-year-old was sending her flirty messages, including come-ons such as “what are u wearing now?”.
The magazine says that on July 27, Ashton and Brittney took their relationship to the next level and had sex at his house, while Demi, 47, was out of town. But while it appears Ashton acted with reckless abandon, Star says he was careful when it came to the evidence.
“He wanted me to delete the messages,” Brittney says. “He said they could hurt him.” Brittney, who is a year younger than Ashton’s eldest stepdaughter, Rumer, also tells Star that when she asked the actor when he’d be alone again, his reply was “maybe the end of the month”.
