Whenever we have to fork out an exorbitant amount of our hard-earned cash at the vets for a simple doggie check-up or cat grooming, we simply can’t believe it.
That much? For a line of stitches? For a flea treatment and a cone?
But this dilemma clearly doesn’t apply to Demi Moore.
According to US Weekly, Demi has made a name for herself as one excessive fur mama.
The report reveals that Demi Moore dolls out $715 (or $985 AUD) for her dog’s bi-weekly acupuncture sessions.
The actress, 53, reportedly pays for the twice-a-week treatments for her Chihuahua, Vida Blue, because she likes a holistic lifestyle, not because there’s anything wrong with her.
“There’s nothing wrong with her dog,” the source told US Weekly, Demi “is just really into holistic food and medicine for her animals, the way she is for herself.”
According to veterinarian Patrick Mahaney, acupuncture helps to calm anxious dogs, increase appetite and treat muscle spasms.
But at $1,970 a week?!
We thought our pigs’ ears were an expensive treat!
