Fans of The Voice were disappointed when they heard that filming had been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, judge Delta Goodrem has finally broken her silence on the matter and even hinted that she’s using her musical skills to spread some joy and awareness.

(Image: Nine Network)Sharing a screenshot of a note made on her phone, Delta acknowledged that she had kept a low profile since COVID-19 became a global pandemic.
“I know I’ve been silent but to be honest like you all I’ve been trying to process this,” the 35-year-old wrote.
“I want you to know that I’m experiencing this with you, we are all feeling the immense gravity of being a human in this moment together. We have the challenge of all our lives in front of us.”
Delta also hinted that she’s releasing a song about protecting “our parents’ generation and the most vulnerable.”

“Please stay inside, you do not know the path of the person standing next to you, let’s care about each other.”

This would not be the first occasion Delta has used her singing and songwriting skills to spread a powerful message.
Earlier this year, the former Neighbours star penned an anthem to raise funds for the bushfire relief after devastation rocked Australia.
Let It Rain topped the Australian iTunes charts less than three hours after release and Delta performed the song at the Fire Fight Australia benefit gig.
Delta and her fellow judges Kelly Rowland, Guy Sebastian and Boy George were set to return for the 2020 season of the hit reality singing show, but filming has been put on hold.
In a statement from a Nine spokesperson, Now To Love was informed that “filming of The Voice has been temporarily postponed in the wake of the coronavirus and new government protocols.”
“The show is still currently on track to begin airing in its originally planned time frame, which will be announced in the coming months.”
Judging by previous years, the show will hopefully be on-screens around late April, early May.
