A serenade from his Aussie rocker dad, Jimmy Barnes, was the icing on the cake for David Campbell when he tied the knot with British actress and producer Lisa Hewitt in a ceremony at St Philip’s church in Sydney.
And Jimmy couldn’t have been prouder of his son as he shared the big day. “He’s nervous as hell,” Jimmy said before the wedding. “She is gorgeous. They’re a great couple.”
In an online message to friends, David, 35, admitted to being nervous — “emotional” — but excited to marry his “perfect woman”.
The day went off without a hitch. Lisa, 28, spent the morning in Potts Point with her bridesmaids, including Kath & Kim actress Magda Szubanski, who had originally introduced David to Lisa.
