The Beckhams certainly aren’t doing things by halves during their current holiday in Sydney.
Along with climbing the Harbour Bridge, heading to Glenworth Valley Outdoors Adventures, indulging in some decadent Sydney brunch and getting pampered at a nail salon, it’s safe to say the Beckhams are having a helluva time in the land Down Under.
But while many of these novelties are accessible to us mere mortals, there’s one other thing team Beckham have indulged in for their holiday – and it definitely doesn’t fall into your average holiday budget.
Indeed, the famous family’s Sydney digs are the real cherry on top of an Australian-shaped cake. The group of five are staying in a luxurious $17 million mansion in Mosman, and the pictures alone are enough to make us swoon.
Settled in the affluent harbour-side suburb, the three-storey property is mere metres from Balmoral beach and boasts incredible views of Sydney Harbour.
With a bar, gym, media room and wine cellar, the family are well equipped when it comes to entertaining in their Sydney mansion – not that we’re after an invitation or anything…
As summer approaches, the mansion’s alfresco terrace, swimming pool and multiple balconies would go down a treat.
But the Beckhams are covered for any chilly nights, with underfloor heating guaranteed to keep their tootsies warm – no socks necessary!
The Beckhams are visiting Australia as the soccer legend David attends the Invictus Games as an official ambassador.
Family pals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whose wedding David and Victoria attended back in May, were also in Sydney at the same time.
While we haven’t yet seen a reunion between the chummy royals and their royally rich counterparts, we’ll keep our fingers crossed as Harry and Meghan head back to Sydney on Saturday for the Invictus Games closing ceremony.
And while the Beckhams look as though they’ve been embracing Sydney in all its glory, their trip hasn’t come without its dramas.
In a revealing and rare interview on The Project on Sunday evening, David opened up about his family, and specifically his wife Victoria. But what he had to say apparently didn’t go down well with the mum-of-four.
When host Lisa Wilkinson asked David about his 19-year marriage to Victoria, David replied: “To have been married for the amount of time that we have, it’s always hard work, everybody knows that, but you make it work, you make difficult situations like travelling away, being away from each other, you make it work.”
According to reports, Victoria was upset at his remark, with a source telling The Sun the fashion designer spent two days crying about his comments, and then checked herself into a stress-clinic while on a recent visit to Germany.
Hopefully a few nights relaxing with their children in their stunning Mosman home has done the trick in repairing any hard feelings between the two!
