It was the question on the lips of all Voice fans last year — were judge Delta Goodrem and host Darren McMullen dating?
Months after the pair were photographed looking very cosy in Sydney and Los Angeles, Darren has admitted he and Delta “had something going on”.
Darren told Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O’s radio show he had a casual relationship with the blonde singer, but insisted they “were never dating”.
“We were just two very young single people who would hold hands occasionally,” he told Austereo. “We are still very close”.
Rumours Darren and Delta were dating started circulating during the early stages of filming for season one of The Voice last year and the pair were photographed enjoying numerous dinner dates in Sydney.
They were later snapped hiking in Los Angeles, but denied they were an item.
They were also spotted kissing at Lady Gaga’s Sydney show in June, but the romance had reportedly fizzled out by August.
