It’s no mystery that dog owners tend to be quite obsessed with their pooches. Case in point: We live in an age where you can buy your pets gourmet, organic, home-cooked meals. Some people even spend more money on spoiling their dogs than they do on themselves.
But one emerging trend in Japan has even these adoring pet owners divided.
Some dog groomers are cutting their dogs’ hair into perfect cubes and other unusual shapes. Why? Nobody is quite sure, but the niche trend sure does have some interesting results.
The images first appeared on Reddit and appear to be from a competition where groups go head-to-head to shave their dogs’ hair into the most unique shapes.
Half our office thinks this is harmless fun, while the other are just plain confused.
