Curvy model pens powerful body love essay

Curvy model Myla Dalbesio hits back at cruel taunts from bullies about her "layers of fat."

Myla Dalbesio is a model who is a healthy size 10. Although curvier than the average model, during her career she has been given the moniker “plus sized,” a title she has also been criticised as being “too thin” for.

The stunning Calvin Klein model has penned a deeply personal essay which reads somewhat like a letter to herself for the latest edition of Suited magazine reported Daily Mail.

The brunette stunner also admits to having a previous addiction to speed, and has had periods of starving herself in order to fit into the industry.

“You always cough and stutter and choke when you brush your teeth, a leftover from your old speed addiction,” she writes.

Myla reveals that she once read a note to a photographer asking them to “de-emphasise her chin”, an issue she’d never previously paid mind to.

“Isn’t that the way it always is? You never notice those things until someone tells you it’s wrong,” the model wrote.

Myla made her debut as Calvin Klein’s first “plus-sized” model, but she claims it took her a long time to be comfortable with her curves. After receiving criticism for her “lack of muscle tone” and having trolls comments “BARF” next to her picture, Myla has now embraced those curves.

She praises them in this letter :

“Your a– is great. And those t–s! People love ’em, even though you sometimes think they’re too droopy and they look weird in your armpits and your nipples are too big or soft or puffy.’

The letter is a powerful reminder that even the very gorgeous, who make money off their physical attributes have critics and insecurities that they must rise above in order to survive and thrive.
