Coco Arquette’s stepping into the spotlight – and her first stop? Becoming the star of a music video!
The 12-year-old daughter of Courteney Cox and her ex-husband David Arquette made her showbiz debut in the clip for MONOGEM’s new song Wild, where she and co-star Matthew RC Taylor play besties who meet up for a night of fun – and cross-dressing!
Wait, what?
“With all of the craziness going on in the world today, I felt compelled to deliver this message and lyric to our very important younger generation: ‘Life’s too short to not live wild’,” says MONOGEM of the video.
While it might seem a little, err, wild for a still-young Coco, her famous parents 100 per-cent approve of her big break.
(And, if anyone cared, so do we!)
“Check this out! Great song, great video and that’s my daughter!” tweeted Courteney, who got her own big break by appearing in the music video for Bruce Springsteen’s classic Dancing In The Dark back in 1984.
Like mother like daughter…
Not only that, but Coco’s dad David has also been plugging the project.
“So proud of my daughter Coco and her performance in the @monogem video link,” he wrote on Instagram.
We have a feeling we’ll be seeing a lot more of Coco from now on!
