It’s been just 12 months since the shock split between Biggest Loser coaches-turned-lovers Michelle Bridges and Steve “Commando” Willis first came to light, but it seems the hunky personal trainer is quickly moving on.
Two months after the former couple, who share son Axel, four, parted ways, Steve, 44, began cosying up with fellow personal trainer Harika Vancuylenberg – and now the pair are fuelling rumours they’re secretly planning to wed!
Woman’s Day hears the testing year has taken the couple’s whirlwind romance to a “new level”, with the duo seriously talking about walking down the aisle – news that would be heartbreaking for Michelle, 50.
Certainly a wedding announcement wouldn’t come as a surprise to those closest to the lovebirds.
Recently, Commando and Harika had tongues wagging after they attended a friend’s nuptials, where the couple looked every bit a bride and groom-to-be.
Looking smart in a floral shirt, Steve embraced his bombshell flame, who looked gorgeous, with picture-perfect waves and a plunging neckline.
“You two have to be next!” insisted a friend, who commented on a loved-up snap of them at the event.
“What a cute couple,” complimented a fan, while another couldn’t help but admire just how happy Steve looked.
“They have a lot in common – training, healthy lifestyles, both single parents – and they really enjoy each other’s company,” a source previously said of the couple who met on a boot camp in Tahiti last November.
Despite remaining tight-lipped about the romance, Steve and Harika’s fling was thrown into the headlines earlier this year, following Michelle’s January arrest for mid-range drink driving, where she was forced to reveal she and Steve had split.
Following the arrest, Michelle told the judge the start of 2020 had been a “very difficult time” as she was “dealing with the break-up of my long-term relationship”.
It’s been a trying year for Steve too, with the former army recruit also in court after he took out an AVO against former client Jun “Margaret” Yue.
In October, a court ruled Steve had reason to fear Yue, who sent him a barrage of messages, turned up at his house with gifts and stalked his social media after their trainer-client relationship turned sour.
The father-of-four, who was married before dating Michelle, told a court he was “unnerved” by her behaviour.
