The teen daughter of Cindy and Rande Gerber has been making waves on the fashion front but now is proving to be a double threat with People confirming Kaia has landed a role in the indie film Sister Cities.
The film is about four estranged sisters who come home to face their mother’s death together.
The 13-year-old beauty will star alongside Castle actress, Stana Katic, Oscar nominee and Australian actress Jacki Weaver, Gossip Girl beauty Michelle Trachtenberg, Jess Weixler and Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario.
Sean Hanish will be directing the film adaptation of the 2006 play, revealing to People, “Kaia blew me away in her audition. Her instincts and maturity are impressive for her age.”
Kaia has also landed a huge fashion spread in the new CR Fashion Book by famed stylist Carine Roitfeld.
Adding, “I’m thrilled to cast her [Kaia] and very excited to direct her in her film debut. She has a very bright future.”
Indeed she does!
It’s only been a week since Kaia announced she had signed a modelling contract with top agency IMG Models.
Now the multi-talented tween has done her model mum proud after scoring another high-fashion spread, this time alongside her big brother Presley in a photoshoot for the new CR Fashion Book by famed stylist Carine Roitfeld
We must say that Kaia is truly Cindy’s mini-me! In the glossy shoot, the striking stunner looked beautiful in an embellished pale pink dress while lounging on a printed pillowcase.
Cindy couldn’t be more proud of her daughter’s accomplishments, with the iconic model taking to Instagram to congratulate her child.
“Guess I better watch my back… Love this shot of @KaiaGerber,” she lovingly penned.
