The 25-year-old singer debuted the film clip for her new single Bad Blood today at the Billboard Awards and music fans were delighted to see the cast featured many of Swifty’s close mates including Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss as well as celebrity heavyweights Jessica Alba and supermodel Cindy Crawford.
Crawford took to her own Instagram to promote the clip sharing a behind-the-scenes shot of herself in a skin-tight leather bodysuit which showed off the 49-year-old’s smoking bod.
Other surprising but great cameos include Grey’s Anatomy’s Ellen Pompeo and Law and Order SVU’s Mariska Hargitay.
Taylor has been teasing the elaborate Sin-City style clip for weeks and it turns out many netizens think it’s been worth the wait.
The clip was directed by Joseph Kahn who was responsible for Britney Spears high intensity music video Toxic and created the CGI laden clip Love the Way You Lie for Rihanna and Eminem’s 2010 hit of the same name.
Some are suggesting that the music video – which heavily features rapper Kendrick Lamar – is also a dig at Taylor’s former pal Katy Perry. Not only did Tay-tay date Perry’s beau, John Mayer, but it is rumoured that a rift sparked between the pair after a reported dispute over the employment of several in-demand backup dancers.
