Chrissy Teigen won Queen of Twitter a long time ago. Between heckling husband John Legend and being blocked by Donald Trump for saying “lol no one likes you”, the model had it in the bag, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to stop churning out Grade A content.
This morning, Chrissy needed brown bananas – something you can’t buy at supermarkets.
As any baker knows you need to use old, brown bananas in banana bread or you’re not going to have a good time, and with a cookbook to her name, she wasn’t about to make some kind of subpar snack, so she took to Twitter.
At this point, it’s probably important to say that by assistant, she means mum.
Just like the Queen of England, Chrissy requested the giver-of-brown-bananas taste test them to make sure they weren’t poisonous.
Let’s all take a second to appreciate that her dog is dressed as a bellhop in the background.
And that was that – banana bread made. Except one thing, she needed one more banana.
Her mum once more trekked out to get bananas, trading them for another pair of John’s underwear – 90% sure he didn’t agree to this.
And we finally made it!
What an adventure.
In other food drama, the model also had a bit of an accident with PostMates, a delivery company in the US that’s like the Uber of food, that couriers you pretty much anything you need.
Oh Chrissy, don’t ever stop being you, you are the biggest gift the internet has ever given us.
