Congratulations are in order for the beautiful bronde and her angel-voiced husband.
The ecstatic new mum confirmed the news by sharing a shot of her baby’s birth chart, which revealed she was born last Thursday, April 14, and weighs around three kilograms.
“She’s here! Luna Simone Stephens, we are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” Chrissy penned in her trademark hilarious style.
While John added via Twitter: “Our new love is here! Luna Simone Stephens, born on Thursday, the 14th. We couldn’t be happier!”
Indeed after much baby name speculation, the couple’s daughter’s name has finally been revealed as Luna Simone Stephens – Stephens is John’s real surname.
On Sunday, Chrissy took to Twitter to joke: “To everyone asking, john is healing perfectly. Thank you for all the well wishes!!! we are so happy and excited! i dunno what to tweet now. does my twitter change? this is so awkward.”
The precious bundle of joy born is the couple’s first child together, but we’re guessing it certainly won’t be the last.
Both Chrissy and John have expressed their excitement for a big family in the past, with Chrissy saying to Huffington Post in 2014, “Hopefully we’ll just have this Angelina-Brad-type brood. I would love that.”
“I definitely want a lot of kids, and he does as well.”
Chrissy and John revealed their big baby news via Instagram back in October.
“John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant 🙂 As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now,” the expectant mum penned to her 5.6 million followers.
“It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening.”
“Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!”
John opted for a more low-key announcement to his 3.2 million Instagram followers.
“We’re pregnant,” he simply wrote.
Last year, Chrissy revealed that she and her 37-year-old musician hubby had been trying to conceive for over five years.
“I will say honestly John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it happened,” the 30-year-old said on an episode of FABLife last September.
The amazing news comes as a huge celebration for the Hollywood couple, who have undergone a pregnancy journey filled with both ups and downs.
Chrissy has never had trouble opening up about the very real fertility struggles the couple have faced, even revealing that she chose her baby’s sex during IVF.
“The big question was why this wasn’t working for us when I was young and he was healthy,” she told SELF magazine about her inability to fall pregnant.
“I thought, ‘people get pregnant by accident all the time! How does this happen?’”

“I’ve made this decision,” the Cravings author told People on her choice to have a daughter.
Although it was met with some criticism, the Sports Illustrated model made no apologies for selecting the sex of her baby.
“Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.'”
“I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me.”
The couple met on the set of John’s 2007 music video “Stereo,” and by September of 2013, they were married.

Meanwhile, John admitted the couple were feeling the pressure on producing a good looking baby.
“Chrissy says it’s a lot of pressure though because everybody says she’s going to be so cute – what if she’s not that cute? Every baby is not that cute,” the All of Me singer joked in an interview with Big Boy’s Neighborhood radio show in March.
But looks aside, John says he just wants his first child simply “to be healthy and I want her to be kind and intelligent and just a good person.”
Congratulations Chrissy and John, we can’t wait to watch Baby Legend grow!
