Chris Noth braved the cold water like a pro in Sydney as he went for a splash at Bondi Icebergs on his recent visit downunder.

It was the same trip in which the former Sex and the City star stirred up controversy by calling the show’s iconic lead character Carrie a “whore”.

Speaking of the iconic lothario character that he played – Mr Big, and his relationship with Carrie, Chris said in an interview with News.com.au: “The relationship just didn’t work, and he went on to get married while she went on to … how many boyfriends did she have? She was such a whore! [laughs]”.

Chris meanwhile looked perhaps a little older and softer round the edges than his on-screen counterpart as he took the water in Sydney, giving his expanding belly a rub as he braced himself against the icy seawater.
