He may be single, but Cold Play frontman Chris Martin is far from ready to mingle!
The 37-year-old who recently separated from his actress wife of ten years, Gwyneth Paltrow, sparked rumours last week that he was dating former British model, Alexa Chung, 30, after the pair were spotted enjoying a drink together at a bar in Manhattan.
The duo was seen tucked away in the back room of the bar and appeared to be on a date.
Turns out, the pair were just catching up.
A rep for Chris has since denied the pair are dating, saying they are just friends.
“The story is completely untrue,” the rep told E! News.“They are not dating.”
Chris, who shares two young children, Apple and Moses with Gwyneth, is said to still be close to his former love despite announcing their split or, in Gwyneth’s words, “conscious uncoupling” back in March.
“They are getting on so well together, and still spending a lot of time together,” a source said.
“It’s kind of like the separation was never announced, you wouldn’t even know that they are a couple that are going their separate ways.”
