The dad-of-three wasn’t in Sydney to pick up his Man of the Year award, but his incredible acceptance speech definitely hit home.
“Thanks to all the great men out there that have inspired me,” the Daily Telegraph reported Chris saying in a video message.
“And thanks to my wife, and all the great women of the world who make us men truly what we.”
No wonder Chis is man of the year!
The 33-year-old is currently on holidays with his family in the States.
Meanwhile, rapper Iggy Azalea was named Woman of the Year.
The rapper and X-Factor judge certainly showed off her unique humour during her acceptance speech.
“I didn’t know everybody was going to have such hilarious speeches and I didn’t prepare anything foolishly,” she said.
“Thank you GQ for this award. I have won a lot of awards over the last few years but this one means the absolute most to me because I can finally say I have an award-winning vagina.”
“This is amazing to me, I’ve got the best vagina in the world. How do you say no to that… you don’t.”
The 10th annual awards ceremony saw a bevy of local and international stars in attendance including Today host Lisa Wilkinson, Ian Thorpe, Hollywood actors Chris Evans, Scott Eastwood and International Man of the Decade recipient Jon Hamm.
