Young Abby is making waves in Hollywood at a tender age. Already a TV star, Abby has an enviable CV having acted in the Emmy Award-winning Transparent and new TV show called The Whispers.
But it is Abby’s role on HBO’s Togetherness that has us gaping.
Entertainment site, TMZ reported that the seven-year-old made a ridiculous $US17,500 ($AU23,438) per episode for the first season and now with season two in production, her pay has jumped up to $US20,000 ($AU26,787) per episode and she is expected to make a 5% increase for season three.
Now she is making a superhero-sized leap from TV to the big screen as she prepares to star in one of the biggest hits of the year, Marvel’s Ant-Man, where she’ll play Paul Rudd’s daughter.
“Meeting new people and reading scripts — that’s my favorite part of acting,” Abby revealed about her job.
“I really like to pretend I’m a different character. I get to feel emotions that another person wouldn’t feel because they’re not that character.”
While we expect big things from this little wonder, Abby is like most children her age and simply enjoying being a kid.
When asked if she wanted to act for the rest of her life, Abby said, “Well, yeah… But I really want to be an animal rescuer, too.”
