Fresh from her recent split with actor Sean Penn, TMZ reports the 39-year-old has adopted a second child.
According to the news website, the Mad Max star has been working with a child welfare agency for six months to lock in the adoption.
It’s believed the little girl is an African American child who was born in the United States.
Charlize reportedly adopted her newborn bub, named August, in July. While the meaning of her daughter’s name is not yet known, the Oscar winner will be celebrating her 40th birthday on August 7th.
Earlier in the year, the South African-born beauty spoke to W Magazine about her love of motherhood, explaining, “I do know that choosing to be a mum in my late ’30s has been really great for me. It’s given me perspective.”
