The star-studded night was attended by the likes of Meryl Streep, George Clooney, Danny DeVito and Tom Hanks, as well as other stars David Letterman and Paul Shaffer.

The event, which celebrated Paul Newman’s SeriousFun Children’s Network, raised money and awareness for the charity, which sends children with illnesses to camp.

George Clooney was in resounding support, commenting, “They get to be campers and not patients for a period of time and that’s really something kind of spectacular. You get lost in all these things in the rush of our lives and you forget that they, on top of having to deal with very serious illnesses, they’re also kids. There was a kid here today saw snow for the first time, which is pretty great.”

Meryl added, “They’re opening three more camps this year… They have served a half a million kids and families. He’s really delivered joy, not just in his work but in this work, which is a great legacy.”

There was also a sweet performance by the charity’s kids, who came and sang Katy Perry’s Roar.

Ending the evening on a high note, singers Carole King, Natalie Cole and Aloe Blacc all played for the famous crowd.
