While we might be used to seeing Eva Longoria looking stunning on a red carpet the star wowed wedding guests as a bridesmaid at the weekend.

The 39-year-old was one of six bridesmaids in matching lilac Grecian gowns at the wedding of Bonnie Rodezno – a close friend of Longoria who was also in the bridal party at her wedding to basketballer, Tony Parker.

Eva also posted some pictures of the LA ceremony on social media and captioned one shot: “Great wedding day”.

The actress isn’t the only superstar who has shunned the spotlight for a day to play second fiddle to a blushing bride. Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, Jessica Biel and Kate Bosworth have all slipped on a bridesmaids dress and walked down the aisle without saying “I do.”

Eva Longoria posted this shot with friends at the LA ceremony with the caption: “Great wedding day”.
