Update 9/12:
The mugshot of Jocelyn Wildenstein has been released after she was arrested for ‘clawing’ her partner, Lloyd Klein.
Further allegations have reportedly been made against Wildenstein, including she poured hot candle wax over Klein, in addition to scratching him and attacking him with scissors.
“They had a relaxing dinner, everything was normal then Jocelyn suddenly got angry as she often does,” a source told the MailOnline.
“Lloyd was using his laptop and evidently not paying her enough attention. So she screamed at him to get off the computer then picked up a lit candle and threw the hot wax all over him.”
It is not yet clear whether Klein will press charges. More as we get it.
Original story 8/12:
In an unfortunate case of irony, Jocelyn Wildenstein, often known as ‘catwoman’ because of her surgery-enhanced feline face, has reportedly been arrested for clawing her boyfriend.
Sources told The New York Post Wildenstein, 76, scratched the face of her fashion designer beau, Lloyd Klein, 49, inside their Trump Tower apartment.
She allegedly then grabbed a pair of scissors and slashed his chest. Klein is said to have stuffed Wildenstein inside a closet to prevent her attacking him further while he waited for police.
Daily Mail Australia reports she was arraigned in a Manhattan courtroom where she “spent five minutes combing her hair while using her cell phone as a mirror.”
She’s been dating Klein for the past decade.
Swiss-born Wildenstein is famous for her cosmetic surgeries, which have cost her millions.
She reportedly had the extensive work done to please her cat-loving husband, the late art dealer, Alec Wildenstein, which has also earned her the moniker of ‘Bride of Wildenstein’.
She’s also famous for being awarded the largest settlement in history in her 1999 divorce with Wildenstein. Jocelyn was awarded $2.5billion and an additional $100million a year for 13 years.
