Natalie Portman, is that you?
The first photos of Portman as Jacqueline Kennedy for the film Jackie set to be released in 2017.
Directed by Pablo Larrain, the film is set to tell the story of the former First Lady, following her in the events after the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963.
Portman isn’t the only actor who can transform before our very eyes though; just the other week, Nicole Kidman was barely recognisable on the set of her latest sci-fi movie and Cate Blanchett took our breath away with her appearance in a new art installation in Melbourne.

Naomi Watts rocked red locks for her new film, The Bleeder.
Chris Hemsworth is looking more like Tom Hanks in Castaway than his usual muscley self.
It’s for In the Heart of the Sea, a true story of the crew of a whaling ship’s close encounter with a huge whale in 1820.
Cate Blanchett is nearly unrecognisable in a series of “manifestos” by Julian Rosefeldt.
The work will be exhibited at the Australian Centre for the Moving Arts in Melbourne.
Charlize Theron terrified as serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 2003 crime drama Monster.
The role earned her an Oscar for Best Actress.
Anne Hathaway had to follow a strict diet- which she likened to starving herself- in order to portray emaciated prostitute Fantine in Les Misérables.
But the hard work paid off, and Hathaway scooped the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2013.
A completely disguised Glenn Close appeared as the title character in 2011’s Albert Nobbs, playing an unassuming butler in 19th century Ireland.
Close landed an Oscar nomination for her work in the film.
The prosthetics team were definitely working over time to transform Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
It took up to five hours a day to complete the required make-up for the role.
You could be forgiven for not realising that it is, in fact, Gary Oldman playing Mason Verger in the 2001 film Hannibal.
Oldman, and director Ridley Scott, decided to leave the veteran actor as unbilled on the movie credits, because he was supposed to be “the man of many faces”.
Jared Leto is absolutely stunning as transgender AIDS patient Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club.
The blue-eyed heartthrob earned himself a Best Supporting Actor award at the Oscars for his work.
Nicole Kidman was made up with a prosthetic nose for The Hours.
The prosthetic worked so well that Kidman often went unrecognised by the paparazzi.
And speaking of noses… Ralph Fiennes’ turn as Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter was the stuff of nightmares.
And he suffered for his art- once the two-and-a-half hour make-up had been applied, he was unable to eat until it had been removed.
Christian Bale packed on the pounds for Academy Award Winning American Hustle.
Bale is no stranger to changing his looks though; he often gains or loses weight to get in to character.
It’s Mrs Turnblad! John Travolta got padded out in a fat suit to play Tracy’s mother in the 2007 musical Hairspray.
The transformation would take Travolta four hours each day and included five gel-filled silicone face prosthetics.
If we’re picking our favourite man-dressed-as-a-woman character, though, it has to go to Robin Williams as the ultimate nanny in Mrs. Doubtfire.
Williams, who sadly died last year, made children everywhere wish that they could spend their afternoons with the Scottish au pair.
The only giveaway that The Grinch was actually Jim Carrey was his signature kooky acting style.
It was a painful transformation though, and Carrey hated being strapped in to the heavy suit every day.
Woah! Tilda Swinton got over-tanned and over-made-up for Amy Schumer’s comedy Trainwreck.

Apparently she really enjoyed it, and modelled the character on Victoria Beckham.
Rooney Mara completely transformed for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
And she looks set to get back in to character as Lisbeth Salander in the sequel.
Dustin Hoffmann was one of the first men to dress as a woman for a leading role in Tootsie, in 1982.
The role made him question society’s perception of beauty: “I know that if I met myself at a party, I would never talk to that character…she doesn’t fulfill physically the demands that we’re brought up to think women have to have.”
Yes, that is mega-diva Mariah Carey in 2009’s Precious.
The singer-turned-actress said that the hardest part of playing social worker Ms. Weiss in the movie was not wearing any make-up or false eyelashes.
And we’ve saved the creepiest til last- Tom Cruise got himself a bald patch and hairy arms for Tropic Thunder in 2008.
It worked; Cruise earned himself a Golden Globe nomination for his turn as Les Grossman.
